A Los Angeles woman, Lucie J. Kim, is suing Miley Cyrus for $4 billion over a photo that shows the "Hannah Montana" star and some of her friends using their hands to make slanted-eye faces.
TMZ reports that the class action lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, is on behalf of the million Asian Pacific Islanders living in Los Angeles County.
The suit claims that Miley violated the group's civil rights and requests the minimum damage set by law — $4000 — for each plaintiff. One million times $4000 = $4 billion.
Miley issued a halfhearted apology on her fan site earlier this month, but that's not cutting it for many offended Asians.
Korean American comic Margaret Cho was so upset by it that she posted a song on her blog, calling Miley "a disgrace."
