Does Will Smith swing both ways? Ian Halperin thinks so.
The Yahoo columnist ("Ian Under Cover") claims that a "notorious Hollywood Madame" who recently moved to New York revealed that Will was a client of hers for years.
According to Ian, the madame said she had to reassure Will that she could guarantee discretion before he placed his first order.
(Tell us again, how is spilling her clients' details to an Internet blogger an act of discretion?)
Ian quotes the madame as saying about Will:
Once I convinced him I could [guarantee discretion], he placed his order. It was for a man. I had 14 women working for me and two guys. You’d be surprised at how many Hollywood stars requested the services of the guys.”
To add insult to injury, Ian suggests that the reason Will has joined up with Scientology is because the cult church says it can turn gay people straight.
We've never personally known a gay man who wanted to go straight.
A lot of actors have felt the need to keep their sexual orientation a private matter for professional reasons, but that's way different from trying to change the way God made them.
We have no idea what's up with Will. But we do know that bloggers usually get paid by the number of times people click on their headlines — and speculation about celebrities' sex lives definitely gets people to click away. Especially when the headline uses homophobic language: "Is Will Smith light in the loafers?"
We're just saying.
