Yes, folks, this is what Michael Jackson — who's turning 50 tomorrow — would look like if he hadn't had all that work done on his face.

According to the Daily Mail, anyway. J. Randy Tarraborelli, who has written about Michael Jackson throughout his career, describes real-life Michael as "gaunt and frail-looking" with peeling skin and "sickening yellow-brown" fingernails.

Ten years ago, Michael told him: "When I go on stage, people expect a lot. They want the dancing, they want the spins, and all. But I don't know how much longer I can do it. I don't know when it'll just not be possible."

Now he is in a wheelchair, basically crippled by arthritis (or something like it) in his knees, ankles and fingers.

"Everyone makes mistakes when they're young," he said recently. "But I still look OK, don't I? I mean, for 40?'

But he's not 40. He's 50. And when he was reminded of that fact, he just smiled sadly and said,"It all went by so fast, didn't it?"

Thanks for the thrills, Michael.
