Could it possibly get any worse for ABC's Dancing with the Stars right now? Or is the publicity about injuries a good thing for the popular reality competition show?
It's deja vu all over again, with both Steve Wozniak and Steve-O writing about continued injuries on their blogs and websites.
On Woz.org, Wozniak's website, this message was posted on Friday: "Possible disabling injury happened to Woz on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 2:30 PM PST." Posted along with the message was the above photo, which has since been taken down.
MacDailyNews reported on Friday that the Woz might have pulled a hamstring and was transported by paramedics from DWTS rehearsals to the hospital. "Woz says he is walking with a limp right now. It might take him out of the competition on Dancing with the Stars scheduled for Monday."
Meanwhile, Steve-O is still suffering from a hematoma after landing on his back doing a flip during last week's dress rehearsals. It's still not clear whether he will return on Monday, either.
His professional dancing partner, Lacey Schwimmer, says that Steve-O hasn’t fully recovered from his back injury and is now dealing with internal bleeding. “He has [a] hematoma,” Schwimmer told OK! magazine on Wednesday night.
“[Thursday] morning he has a doctor's appointment,” Schwimmer said. “If the doctor says, It’s okay to dance, then we are in the studio.”
The next Dancing with the Stars airs on Monday, March 23, on ABC.
