FailBlog

Slate has an article about Pet Holdings, the company that runs I Can Has Cheezburger, FailBlog, and other popular humor websites. Cyclists will likely find FailBlog, which has a logo that features a rider flipping over his handlebars, a particularly potent procrastination device. Search the site for "bike", and you'll find some truly spectacular crashes, but there are also some real head-scratchers related to infrastructure.

I'm going to start keeping my eye out for FailBlog-like bike and pedestrian material in the DC area.  I know, for example, that on the way from the New Carrollton metro station to the building where I work in Lanham there are some extraordinarily poorly-conceived sidewalks to nowhere. Next week, when I have a chance, I'll take photos, post them here, and submit them to FailBlog. If you see any good candidates, please send them to bike.examiner@gmail.com, and I'll post them.
