Miss Saigon
The Footlite Musicals theatre season comes to a conclusion with the opening of Miss Saigon this Friday, May 1. Adapted from Madame Butterfly by Claude-Michel Schonberg (music) and Alain Boublil and Richard Maltby, Jr (lyrics), this classic, Tony Award winning musical is set in country during the Vietnam War. An American soldier falls in love with a Vietnamese woman and they are split by the fall of Saigon and they spend years trying to find one another.
