Brothers watch cigar-shaped UFO hover near Vail, CO

CO, June 27, 2009 - While traveling east on I-70 back to Denver I noticed a metalic cigar shape in S/SE sky in Vail area.

At around 7:15 pm MST my brother and I were traveling back to Denver from Las Vegas. We were driving east on I-70 and just got into the Vail area just between Avon and Vail. As I was looking around enjoying the beautiful views a shiny metallic looking object somewhat similar to a cigar caught my attention.

At first I thought maybe I was seeing a planes reflection from the sunlight. I continued looking in that direction again just enjoying the view, but the object didn't move. I watched the object for several minutes just waiting to see some movement like a plane or helicopter but to my surprise it did no such thing. I then thought, "OK, maybe it's some sort of balloon. Still nothing. I was puzzled and mentioned it to my brother. I continued to watch but no movement.

I then said to my brother, "You have to look at this. It's still there. What do you think it is?" I took the wheel (although dangerous of course) and steered the car so he could bend over to look out the front passenger window. I was telling him where to look saying "see! it's just south, maybe southeast between the moon and the mountain top." He then saw it and said, "Yep. It's there." I glanced at the road to regain bearing as we're driving then bent over and looked again. he said, "No kidding, it's just not moving and it looks like it's several miles away".

He took the wheel back and I again just continued to watch the object as we continued traveling east on I-70. I then said, tell me what you see. I think it's looks kind metallic, and long with rounded ends. That doesn't look like a plane, helicopter or even a balloon as far as I can tell." I took the wheel again and my brother bent over and looked at object again. "Your right" my brother said. It doesn't seem to moving at all. It looks what you said, long and cylindrical or something. He took the wheel again and I continued to watch as we passed through Vail and were climbing the pass. I said, "It's just not moving, not up, not down, not sideways, nothing. Whats south of here that would be launching something like a weather balloon or something. My brother said "Nothing". I just can't think of anything that would be south of here in that area. Hell it seems like it about 15 to 20 miles away judging from the mountain tops, trees and the moon in the sky".

I had agreed. I just could think of anything that might explain why something appeared to be floating and stationary for long. The moon was very lightly lit as it was still daylight. It was a crested moon. The object looked to be about half way between the moon and the top(s) of the mountains. You could see the outline of trees across the mountain tops, slender sticks if you will. My brother and I tried to asses how big it was. We both agreed that if it were right above the treeline that we could clearly see, it would probably cover 30 or so, as you could tell it was set back several miles away. My brother said, "damn, if we gave the base circumference of a tree around 30 feet, that's the branches and everything, I bet that thing would span the length of 30 trees or so.

That's definitely bigger that a football field". I replied, no kidding. I bet would cover at least 30 trees if not more from end to end. I lost view as we climbed Vail pass. My brother and I are native to Colorado and have traveled I-70 both directions from Denver to Grand Junction and many other places quite a lot considering I'm 44 and my brother is 48.

I have traveled many time by plane, quite frequent in fact do my some of my employment and I am pretty familiar with the flight paths. You do see a lot of air traffic in that general direction for lets say Seattle for instance or Portland, you get the idea. The flight paths are quite high, mostly around 35,000 feet direct flights. This object only seemed to be a few miles in the air, 15,000 to 20,000 feet if I had to guess, and again, several miles away. I think I've covered all the details. Thank you for your time.

MO, June 28, 2009 - A WHITE CYLINDER SHAPED CRAFT WITH WHAT LOOKED LIKE A ROCKET TYPE REAR END, THERE WAS NO WINGS LIKE AN AIRPLANE, AND TOO HIGH IN THE SKY FOR A GLYDER. NO AIR TRAIL LEFT LIKE A JET. JUST CONTINUED IN THE SAME NORTH TO SOUTH PATTERN AT A HIGH SPEED

AT APROX 6:00PM SUN JUN 28 MY FRIEND AND I WERE SWIMMING IN MY POOL.IN MY BACK YARD. WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERATION AND ALL OF A SUDDEN SHE SAYS, LOOK, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT. I LOOKED AND IT WAS A WHITE CYLANDER SHAPED CRAFT WITH NO WINGS,(LIKE AN AIRPLANE WITH NO TRAIL) IT WAS SO HIGH IN THE SKY,COULD NOT BE A GLYDER. JUST MOVED ON AT A STEADY SPEED FROM NORTH TO SOUTH OVER RAYMORE MISSOURI.I GOT OUT OF THE POOL TO BE ABLE TO SEE WITHOUT MY TREES BEING THE WAY. IT CONTINUED UNTIL IT WAS OUT OF SIGHT AT THE SAME SPEED, A SPEED LIKE A SINGLE ENGINE PLANE, BUT TO FAR UP TO BE ONE AND NO WINGS. MY FRIEND SAYS SHE THOUGHT SHE SAW WHAT LOOKED LIKE SOMETHING AT THE BACK END, THAT REMINDED HER OF A ROCKET. IM WANTING TO KNOW IF ANYONE IN THIS AREA SAW THIS?

CT, June 28, 2009 - A metallic cylindrical object moving slowly at a 45 degree angle from west to east

While waiting for a red light to change in the intersection of route 111 and route 25, I glanced at the sunset. Suddenly, I noticed a metallic colored cylindrical object moving slowly at a 45 degree angle. The object moved at a slow pace and was high in the sky. In attempt to keep an eye on the object I started driving slowly when the light changed to green. However, the cars behind me kept beeping their horns and I had to move. Once on route 25 going south, I stopped by the shoulder and tried to locate the object again but was not able to.
I did not plan to report this incident until another person reported an incident on the 29th, see "Amber object w/angular direction change".

IL, June 25, 2009 - Yellow flash in the sky, sparkly circle

I was hanging out with some of my friends in the park close to my house at around 8p.m. when I looked up into the sky and saw a yellow circle in the sky, there seemed to be almost rings around it, almost as if it were on fire in a way, it's hard to describe because it only lasted a few seconds, then it flashed white and disappeared into the sky. I looked in that direction for another minute telling my friends what I saw, but I didn't see it again. It took me a few days to post this but I was surprised to see that many people close to my area had seen a similar object in the area. Interesting.

GA, June 29, 2009 - from a cargo plane

I was out side on the front porch of my home in woodstock ga. It was around 10:30pm out of no whare. DID not here it intill it was in sight was a cargo plane, Only about 1,000 feet above the ground, I was watching it and from the right side of craft a ball of light, Not bright but not dim, In a aber color. Went about 70 feet to 100 feet above the plane the went fast. I Ran out in the yard to watch it the this ball of light turned right. It went right on a dime then I watch this cargo plane turn right following it.
There was no noise from the other craft only from the plane. What I found strange was when the plane came over the tree that is when I started to hear the plane, as soon as it went over the tree line behind the house I could not here it anymore. There were no noise of the plane shoting anything, nothing coming from the other craft. There was no fire or smoke nothing that could point that this other craft had any type of engine.

The cargo plane looked strange too. It had one green flashing light on the nose, then about 6 or 7 white light for the right side of the wing to the left week and I could not see any lights on the tail.

After his all end I went inside me and my brother wife went in to tell my brother. We had no clue what is was. We tryed to debunk it but nothing that we knew could. If it was a missile or a gun we would have herd it, If it was a missile we would have seen the fire from the engine, And then it turned just right. That was so strange, I have no clue what it was. It could have been some type of probe but the cargo plane was chasing it.

I have no clue what this was or why it was here.

NY, June 29, 2009 - Silver, shiny, circular.

I was on the second to last hole in my golf league (830pm) and was waiting for the group in front of us. I looked up at the clouds as the cloud structures were pretty interesting and noticed what I thought was a plane. As I kept looking at it I began to think it was an interesting looking plane. What was strange was that it was extremely shiny and all silver in color. I could not make out any wings, tail, or trail behind the object. The shape was circular. It was high and moving from west to east. I lost sight of it once it entered a cloud. The sky was clear when I saw it and I was able to see it for about 2 minutes.

TX, June 26, 2009 - Orb In the Sky

Ok, i've seen this simular object now about a dozen times in the past few months. These supposed Chemtrail Planes are flying over and near the planes are thse orbs almost all the time. I've filmed one on a camera but since I don't have an actual camcorder I can't film them all. These orbs are always there when these planes fly over and they have some amazing speeds. One of these planes was flying over and one of these orbs was behind it at about a hands length and in a matter of seconds this orb went from beind well behind it to in front of it. It passed in front of the planes from right to left. It was behind it to the right and then quickly sped up and crossed paths with the plane and was in front of it and to the left of it in a matter of seconds. Theres something going on with these Chem planes and these orbs. Pay attention to the planes. Film them cause the one time i've filmed one I caught something on camera I didn't see. You tube it also theres thousands of videos on there of these orbs apearing when these planes are flying over. Not sure what else to say except something odd is going on. Pay Attention People!

IL, June 26, 2009 - I witnessed two glowing Spheres zipping between planes

I was coming home from work a little past 5 pm and had walked to the bus stop to wait for the bus home. I was looking at the planes taking off from O'hare International Airport. As I watched the airplanes taking off I notices two bright spheres of light, zipping in and around the path of the planes. They seemed to be dancing with one another, No other way I could put it. They were circling around each other and zipping back and forth. The planes did not seem to be bothered or did they divert from their paths due to the objects.

This went on for about 45 seconds to roughly 1 minute, before the objects sped out of site. This is not the first time I have witnessed strange objects in and around O'Hare. I usually carry around my backpack and in it, is my trusty camera. But today of all days I decided to leave it at home and travel light.
 

CA, June 27, 2009 - Binocular sightings to star like UFOs over Lawrence Livermore Labs

Renee Martine (Intuitive) and 2 other intuitives reported seeing 3 stars aligned in a right degree angle. The star in the middle seemed to wobble, split into two stars and finally vanished. Time of sighting: 2:06am. Other witnesses: Laura Miller and Monique Apodoca. Note: The three using intuitive abilities were attempting to communicate with extraterrestials.

Tammy Straling while observing the night sky saw a darting star object that moved in an erratic pattern. Time of sighting: 3:01am. Possible witness: Paul Dale Roberts. My eyes could have been playing tricks on me. Observing the night skies on a continuous basis causes mis-sight and misjudgment. While observing with binoculars, it appeared to be a fast moving star like UFO that darts straight, hard left angle and straight again. Note: Many conventional aircraft and satellites were observed.

Observations lasted through the entirely of the evening. Photographic or video was not obtained. Light/laser signaling produced no results. Psychic telepathy communication inconclusive. Sightings by investigators are inconclusive.

MI, June 29, 2009 - Strange multicolored lights hover over Port Huron/Lapeer MI

On the morning of June 29th at 4:15 am a very bright light was spotted from Davison, Mi to the east between 85 and 90 degrees and between 35 and 40 degrees in elevation. At the time my wife and i were going to bed and spotted a light out the window. At first glance i thought it could be a metorite however it was mostly stationary and multicolored. The light remained in this position until it disappeared at 5:15. Light consisted of multiple lights in 3 rows, with 10-12 lights in a row in a bar like shape. Lights varied between being on and off, in color, intensity. They varied from glowing to being beams of light extending 5 times the width of the object. The lights seemed to rotate at times and sit still at other times, and sometimes flash at random. Rotation was at times vertical and others like chasing lights along its length. A red beam was often seen shining from the bottom of the object. 6-10 audible tones were heard while the object was visible. Tones were heard about every 15 minutes and lasted only a few seconds. The object seemed to move slightly in reference to nearby stars every few minutes but still remained in nearly the same place. A low hum was maintained at all times during the sighting but this could possibly have been local road noise.

ME, May 15, 2009 - saw a solid white light pass over myself and a co-worker while we were leaving work. No blinking and completely silent. It flew ovwer head, was fairly low, but couldn't make out shape. It didn't fly completely strait, kinda wobbly and passed over BIW

Shortly after 9 a co-worker and I left work. Don't know why but something told me to look up. When I did I spotted a solid bright white light flying towards us. I pointed up and said to my co-worker, "that's not a plane."

We observed this object fly directly over our heads and just kept on going. Don't know exactly how fast, but at least 50-100 mph, not all that fast. The object was completely silent and didn't fly completely strait. It was kind of "wobbly." It came from the south and flew north, crossing the Kennebec river in Bath. As it flew away i got into my car to go to a diferent location to keep an eye on this thing. I only saw it for a few seconds after that. All in all I observed it for about 10-15 minutes.

This object had flown right over us, and we work right next to Bath Iron Works, or BIW, a General Dynamics company that builds warships; which is RESTRICTED air space. I don't know why, but I knew it was there, prompting me to look up. I do know that I feel and believe I've had alien abduction all my life, but thats another story for another day. I thought that this event was cool. It was really dark so I couldn't see the body of the craft as the light on it was extremely bright. My co-worker thinks it's a weather balloon.

ME, April 16, 2009 - got home from work. Heard three to four different dogs barking so I looked up. Saw a solid orange star-like light flying from the southwest to the north east. Tried to contact it with a laser pointer. Did not react untril I blinked the laser three tim

I got home from work. Walking to my door, I heard three or four diferent dogs barking in the background coming from different places. I decided to look up at the sky. When I did I saw a solid orange ball, a star-like object fly south to the north. I knew it wasn't any plane I've seen. I am a military "brat" and my father worked air defense in the army. I have lived in Brunswick since 1987, there is the BNAS, the Naval Air Station, and Portland Int. Jetport is about 25 miles away, so I see airtraffic all the time. This was NOT an airplane. I quickly ran inside and grabbed my bionoculars and my laser pointer. Thru the bionoculars it looked no different, so this object, what ever it was was big and pretty far away. I tried to contact it with my laser pointer. It did not respond until I blinked it three times. After I did that the object blinked three times back at me....and kept flying on its course!!! I felt amazed and shocked when it did that. I really didn't know what to think. I watched it til it flew out of sight.

MO, June 29, 2009 - 2 Events of Jets being followed by 5-8 UFO's

At around 9:00 pm, I was cooking, when my boyfriend and children began calling me to look outside, there was 2 jets, and along side were 2 UFOs with steady white lights, and when it flew over and I went to get my camera, there were about 4 more behind, flying very closely, and based on the amount of crafts there should have been alot more sound but it sounded like there was only one aircraft, it looked like they UFOs were guiding the jets, then again around 9:36 pm there was again there was 1 jet and 2 UFOs flying right behind it, they were going pretty slow and made a slight turn in unison. This is not something that happens here alot even though we see UFOs around here almost daily. I olost sight of the object due to trees in my way.

GA, June 30, 2009 - Hovering object over woods

Woke up @ 4:30 am, noticed an abnormal light through window and it was stationary. Knowing there was no tower, or other such lighted structure there, went outside with camera to investigate.

There was no noise, thus it was'nt a helicopter. Took 3 pictures, and before I could take more, the BRAND NEW batteries in camera went dead. Watched for 10 minutes then it just disappeared.

MN, June 1, 2009 - Object following jet, left no contrail.

My wife and I walk our dog 3 times a day, in the morning around 6 am, in the afternoon around 3 pm and at night around 9 pm. On June 1st, during our afternoon walk, we we walking in a Southerly direction, I turned to face my wife as we were walking, and I noticed two objects in the sky. The sky was mostly clear.

The first object I recognized as a jet, based on its shape, consistent speed and the contrail it left behind it, I am convinced it was a conventional aircraft. The second object appeared like a bright spherical dot in contrast to the more recognizable shape of the jet, but what really caught my attention was two things:

1) In sharp contrast to the jet, the movement of the second object was jarring, zipping forward, then suddenly slowed, then jutting forward again. Had I seen this object by itself, I am not sure I would have caught the difference, but as the second object seemed to be following the jet, at what seemed like a close distance, 300 feet? It was very obvious in contrast to the jet, that the second object was capable of shifting speed/breaking quite easily.

2) The second object left no contrail. Now I am not a pilot, and I have not found one to confirm my suspicion, but I would think that if two aircraft were high enough for one to leave contrails, the other would also leave contrails.

I pointed out the phenomenon to my wife, she confirmed that she also saw the same strange contrast between the two objects. This lasted about 30 seconds? Then the second object seemed to break off and fly upward/Northward/away. The jets stayed its course and both objects disappeared from view.

NJ, June 29, 2009 - Star-like UFO "hovering" in sky.

I want to make it very clear that what I am about to write is 100% true. I don't care about alien fanatics, but I do care about the truth. Just 40 minutes ago, I was about to fall asleep sleep when I noticed an unusually bright star outside my window. I have seen two UFOs near my home before, so I knew I had to take a better look at what it was. One of the previous UFOs I had seen, just like the one I saw 40 minutes ago, was a star-like object, but as soon as I stepped out of my car to take a good luck at what it was I was seeing, it shot off into one direction at an incredible speed.

When it took off, the string of light curved into the shape of the letter "C". This occured last summer, but I did not report it. The other UFO I saw, was a Black Triangle that had no visible lights (almost like it was trying to remain unseen). I saw it three years ago (between March-April).

Me and my ex-wife exited the backdoor of our house and walked towards my car (this was around 9:00-10:00PM). The sky was grey and completely covered with clouds. For some reason, I had the instinct that something was above me, and to my amazement, I saw this Black Triangle hover across the sky, under the clouds- at a very low alitutude and with complete silence. It moved slow enough that I could clearly see it in contrast to the grey sky above, but because it had no lights, I had a feeling that it was a foreign object not from this world. It felt unreal watching it, and in a way, I think it traumatized me because it put me into a state of disbelief. I watched it closely as it passed by (straight above me) and disappeared in about 20-30 seconds into the dark, grey sky that lied ahead. I wanted to tell you about these events because I strongly believe that after seeing what I saw just moments ago, that this area (around Atlantic City/Pleasantville), has undeniable UFO events that are taking place. I am 22 years old and very smart, so I will try my best to make this report brief and bring it down to a human level for good comprehension.

It was 4:40AM and I had just put my iPod away. I was listening to some good, heartfelt music. Immediately after turning it off, I put my head down, ready to go to sleep. Then, for some reason, I thought I saw something outside that I should check. It was just a light that I figured would end up being a plane or some bright star or planet. Then, when I moved the blinds, I realized that it WAS just a star. Or so I thought.

So I kept looking at this star, thinking to myself, why is this the only star in the sky? I mean, I looked around and only saw one REAL star in the background, but it looked completely stationary, as it should. So as I let a minute pass by, I realized that the light wasn't stayng the same. At moments, it seemed to get brighter, then just a tiny bit more dim. Maybe, possibly, a star does this. But after the next few things I realized, I knew that this phenomenom was something that could not be dismissed. Remind you, it was late (and it's still late), I wouldn't have gazed for so long if I didn't think it was a cause for alarm.

So, there I am, looking at this big, bright star in the sky. As I looked harder (while holding my breath to make sure the object wasn't moving because of me), I noticed one blinking light on the left side.

Then I saw a brighter blinking light on the right, except when the right side blinking, it looked like a dim, white beam went from right to left straight to where the blinking light was. While I'm noting this in my mind in awe, I realize that it looks like it's hovering from right to left and up and down and so on. It was not completgely still. In fact, it was moving. Just not dramtically like the first star-like object I saw in the sky just last year (around this very time). I began to think that maybe this was a news chopper getting an oversight of the Atlantic City skyline. But then I began to think, "How can that be? It's freakin' 4:40AM and it stil very dark outside.

In fact, it was dark enough that, the object I was looking at looked like the Northern Star (in comparison). But two answers must be answered and I think I already know the answers to them. First, "Isn't a chopper or plane required to have clear, visible lights blinking in a set sequence? Also, isn't it spposed to have distinct colors like Blue or Red to identify it as an aircraft?"

This Helicopter idea had to be ruled out right then and there, because I knew that the one blinking light on the left was far too dim to identify it as plane because I had to really look at this thing to even realize it was blinking. Also, the other blinking light on the right was not set to a perfect sequence or timing. It came off and on, but again, much too slow to identify it as some type of human aircraft. The minutes were flying by, and at this point, I wanted to get a pic or vid. But my camera phone's quality was too crappy, and me being a truth freak, I hate watching UFO vids that aren't clear for they still give the reason of a doubt.

I watched the hovering object until the night became day, and soon enough, the star-like object could not be seen. 5:20AM is when I lost sight. As a note, I'd like to add that the object had several random tiny specks of light blinking all around it, but they were much too small to describe with complete accuracy.

There was one moment where I saw a dim, white glow around the bottom of the star-like object. It continued to move up/down, right/left while gradually moving up the sky, higher and higher- like the sun, moon, and stars would. But if that was an alien spacecraft, wouldn't it be likely that they would use the glow of white light to fool a human into thinking that what they seeing was the Northern Star or Venus or something easily explained but not proved. Also, the gradual movement up the sky tells me that whoever controlled this thing, knew what they were doing and have probably done it for a long time and many times before.

This event is described to the best of my knowledge and I want a response with possible conclusions and or clues to what this star-like object was. I am here to help as much as possible. In fact, tomorrow night, I will watch the sky around the same time, and have my video cam ready for quality footage.

NOTE: I completely ruled out the ideas of a helicopter, plane, flare, star, planet, comet, meteor, shooting star, satellite, or the International Space Station. Since the object was hovering several centimeters horizontally and vertically (from my point of view) and not stationary or still as a "real" star would, I ruled out the possiblity of it being a star or planet. Again, it clearly and definitely moved horizontally and vertically in 2-3 centimeter length, but this was from my point of view and it can also be concluded that as far as the object must have been, those centimeters could have easily been many feet in length. Now, since the object was not constantly moving in one direction across the sky, it can be concluded that it was neither a satellite, comet, meteor, shooting star, "Space Station", plane, helicopter, or flare. This object was hovering in the air at a very high alititude for over 30 minutes before disappearing with the morning sunlight.
