The UFO Traffic Report for Monday, October 26, 2009, includes 7 selected sightings over 5 states, according to witness statements filed in the past 72 hours with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will update this page. The following reports and their headlines are unedited and uninvestigated.

OH, October 25, 2009 - Fast moving, dart like object w/2 bright white lights. MUFON Case # 20128.

Two Ohio witnesses entering State Route 2 from State Route 60 eastbound in Erie County stopped to watch a fast moving and low flying object. The object was described as a "long, dart like object with a bright, almost LED like, white light at each end. It flew in a straight line for what I estimate was 1/2 of a mile, about 1/4 mile away at no more than 300 ft. altitude. I estimated the speed to be over 300 mph." The reporting witness is a retired police officer. "My passenger is a paramedic/fireman and he also observed the object speeding across the sky and then vanish. There was no flame trail or smoke that would be associated with fireworks or a flare, nor was it an airplane."

MI, October 25, 2009 - 5 to 6 green morphing to red disc shaped objects flying in perfect sequence perfectly spaced aqnd traviling in a slanted rectangle formation above the highway 96 and then moving toward the trees about 100 feet above the trees. MUFON Case # 20146.

Several people in Michigan were witness to multiple green colored disc-shaped objects flying at low levels between Lansing and Ann Arbor. The lights appeared to be hovering or moving slowly directly above the reporting witness at about 100 feet above the tree line.

CA, January 31, 2009 - January 31, 2009 sighting in Northern California. MUFON Case # 20144.

This Northern California woman had an unusual sighting at her remote home. She reports seeing a round, white-yellow light floating just 15 feet from her window. When she went outside to observe the object closer, it was moving away from her, but she described it as giving off an electrical buzz sound, about 40 feet above the tree line, metallic, with white, blue and red lights at its rear end, and appearing to be about the size of a "bigcar."

MI, October 26, 2009 - UFO sighting over I-69 towards lansing between Irish Rd. and Shwartz Creek. MUFON Case # 20142.

A Michigan witness driving along I-69 near the Irish Road exit watched four lights that were teardrop-shaped with darker white circles in the center. The lights were between 100 and 200 feet in the air, making no noise, and the size of the object seemed to be about 100 feet x 100 feet.

TX, October 23, 2009 - solid neon red boomerang. MUFON Case # 20141.

A Texas couple camping in Big Thicket on the Turkey Creek Trail saw a "red neon boomerang" object during daylight hours that would appear and disappear as it moved in a southerly direction.

WA, October 24, 2009 - Brilliant Ruby Red Object below tree line south, moved West behind trees, then East in site, erratic slow moving. MUFON Case # 20134.

A Washington witness watched a "brilliant light" that seemed to be a "sparkling ruby color" that was moving below the tree line. The object would move slowly  and then stop and hover "and would do a jerking erratic almost light displacement movement." The object also flahsed briliant white lights as it moved.

MI, October 20, 2009 - Six UFO's - LARGE bright Orange/Yellow balls of Light. One Turned Fully Red and Ascended Streight Up. MUFON Case # 20130.

A Michigan witness out walking at 10:15 p.m. first thought a light in the sky at about 1,000 feet was a helicopter. The object had a bright orange/yellow light in front and a faint white strobe at its rear. The witness then noticed "four or five" more of the same objects in the area and none of them were producing any sound. One of the objecfs turned off its yellow light and turned on a bright red strobe light in front and the faint white strobe at the rear end became very bright. As this object came closer to the witness, "all of the lights went out, and the whole vehicle was illuminated bright red, as if a hat had been put in the air and covered with small bright red lights. It appeared to be flying twaords me and ascending at the same time, then, it stopped forward movement and slowly went streight up." The object disappeared into a cloud layer.
