Reba, the original country redhead (Peter Kramer)

It seemed like this week’s Country Music Association Awards was the perfect time for the girls in country music to reveal their new hair colors. Kellie Pickler made the most dramatic changing, turning her platinum blonde hair to a deep red. Miranda Lambert choose a more subtle path, throwing some red highlights throughout her hair that could almost be mistaken as a reflection of something around her if you didn’t look close enough. Julianne Hough also revealed her new hair color, a light shade of brown. Even Nicole Kidman, award winning actress/wife of Keith Urban, revealed her new “back to red” hair at last night’s awards. Check out the slideshow below to see the girls’ newest hairstyles and then vote on which one you like best!

Is blonde on it’s way out? Should we expect other signature blondes such as Faith Hill, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood to jump on the bandwagon and make a trip to the salon?
