As a new writer for this column dedicated to the interests of nudists, I feel that it’s important to tell you a little about myself and my beliefs about nudism.
While I, personally, do not patronize resorts or campgrounds that condone promiscuity or public sexual expression, there are a few places out there that provide, or at the very least acquiesce to, those environments. I haven’t been a nudist long enough to know which resorts are which, but I do have faith that the great majority of locations cater to nudists who appreciate a natural, social lifestyle without any publicly sexual activity. In the articles in this column, I will be honest about whether or not I have visited a resort and what I thought of it. I’ll also pass along information from others who may have been guests at places that I have not. If some of the information is strictly their opinions, I’ll let you know that, too. Hopefully, there will be plenty of feedback from fellow readers as well as myself to guide you in making future plans.
That having been said, I’d like to give you a heads up about some resort deals for 2010 that might be of interest:
The good folks at Castaways Travel, specializing in clothing-optional resorts and cruises worldwide, tell me that vacationers who book soon for 2010 vacations can save up to $350 per person on a one week stay at SuperClubs (savings will vary by resort.)
SuperClubs offering this promotion are the “Breezes” resorts in Grand Negril,, Rio Bueno, Runaway Bay, Bahamas, Curacao, Panama, and Trelawny. In addition, “Hedonisms” #2 and #3 and “Rooms”, Ocho Rios and Negril are offering some great 2010 deals. Room rates begin at just $83 per night and, of course, must be booked quickly.
Don’t be shy about calling the resort before you make your reservation to see what amenities they offer and what their policies are about any behavior that you believe to be unacceptable. There’s nothing worse when you’re on vacation than showing up at a resort expecting one thing and getting another!
Call or access the online sites for the above resorts to make reservations. Better yet, contact Jim or Donna at Castaways for your best deal on clothing-optional or topless
vacation choices.
