Finally there is some clarity coming into the college football season. Most of the cupcakes are off the schedule and it is mainly conference play from here on out. The win by Florida, loss by LSU and victories by other teams over conference foes reflected in the rankings, with every team in the top 11 changing places.
Along the same lines, a lot of teams dropped in the bottom portion of the rankings, because of conference losses. Teams 17-25 all shifted, Nebraska and South Carolina joined the list as well.
