Slim Shady is at it again!
After re-igniting the issue of his former relationship with singer Mariah Carey on the track 'Bagpipes From Baghdad,' Eminem has released a new diss track against the singer.
The song is called 'The Warning,' and it's a clear response to Mariah Carey's latest single, 'Obsessed;' the video for the single features MC dressed up as a stalker fan in an Eminem-esque hoodie and singing lyrics like "Why you so obsessed with me?" and "you're delusional."
In 'The Warning,' Eminem ups the ante on the war of words with lines like "Mariah, it ever occur to you that I have pictures?" and "you out your alcoholic mind." We won't print the worst of the lyrics, but you can listen to the entire track here. Also on the track, Em employs the help of a Mariah Carey sound-alike and even throws some blows at Mariah's husband, Nick Cannon.
Ultimately, the track serves as a warning (hence the name) to Mariah-- Eminem wants her to stop denying their relationship and badmouthing him, and if she doesn't, he'll release photos and voice messages of the singer to the public.
As much as we're Mariah fans, we're Eminem fans for life and it gives us such joy to know that the real Slim Shady we grew up loving is still alive and well and ready to lay into anyone who crosses him!
We think it's completely fair of Eminem to retaliate with (what we think is) the truth about their short relationship years ago, but maybe we're a little biased.
What do you think of the diss? Did Em go too far? Or did Mariah have it coming?
