Running a marathon is the ultimate challenge of a runner's toughness and these buff celebrities took the plunge and completed the 26.2 mile race, disproving the myth that all stars are soft:

1.) "Dancing With the Stars" host and former "Saved By The Bell" star Mario Lopez completed the Boston Marathon in 5:41:41.

2.) "Saturday Night Live" comedian and movie star funny man Will Ferrell ran the Boston Marathon in 3:56:12.

3.) "ER" and movie actor Anthony Edwards finished the Chicago Marathon in 3:55:40.

4.) Beauty queen, model and winner of "Survivor: Guatemala" Danni Boatwright ran the Nashville Country Music Marathon in 4:23:24.

5.) No one can forget talk show host star and billionaire Oprah Winfrey's much-publicized completion of the Marince Corps Marathon in 4:29:20.

6.) Hip hop music mogul P. Diddy ran the New York City Marathon with a time of 4:14:54, succeeding in his goal of beating Oprah.

7.) Hollywood star Freddie Prinze Jr. finished the Las Angeles Marathon with a time of 5:50:49.

8.) "Family Ties" actress Meredith Baxter ran the New York City Marathon in 4:08:30.

9.) Model and actress Ali Landry completed the Boston Marathon with a time of 5:41:41.

10.) Model Kim Alexis finished the New York City Marathon in 3:52:00.
