Video from Veteran's Day concert at the GMU Patriot Center, Fairfax, Virginia (near Washington, D.C.)
Bob Dylan and his band played the Wang Theatre in Boston last evening (November 13). It was the first night of a three-night stand. Dylan played guitar on only one song. There were no tour debuts, and still no songs from his newest release, " Christmas In The Heart".
It was a welcome return to the Tremont Street venue. The Rolling Thunder Revue played two legendary gigs there on November 21, 1975, when the building was known as "The Music Hall". Several songs from those concerts ended up on the album "Bootleg Series Vol. 5 - Bob Dylan Live 1975: The Rolling Thunder Revue", as well as in Dylan's movie "Renaldo and Clara". You can see footage from that gig here, as well as at the bottom of the page.
