I walk in stride with people much taller than me
And partly it's the boots but mostly it's my chi
And I'm becoming transfixed with nature and my part in it
Which I believe just signifies I'm finally waking up.

~ Ani DiFranco, lyrics from Evolve

November 11th always signals a transformational gateway. Eleven is the master number reflecting the transmutation of physical to divine. You may have begun noticing 11:11 on digital clocks. This is an encoding that activates our cellular memory of the ascension process that's well underway. Gillian MacBeth-Louthan says, "The energy of 2009 comes to one of its many peaks through the valley of change, as we enter a placement of time and light that has disguised itself as a date."

This year, November 11th is especially powerful, because it's 11:11:11 (2009 = 2+0+0+9 = 11). Archangel Michael through channel Celia Fenn describes the opening of the Sacred Rose Stargate, and Mary Magdalene offers a meditation to allow us to open to the new consciousness and receive the Love that will be streaming through.

It can be challenging to open to receive Divine Love, because, in our fear and sense of smallness, we're "blinded by the Light." Thus, in our day-to-day lives, it's often difficult to tell whether we're moving towards the Light or deeper into shadow, when so much is being brought to the surface to be healed. The Tao Te Ching says, "The way out into the light often looks dark/The way that goes ahead often looks as if it went back."

Holding the both/and, rather than choosing between either/or, is the nature of the dawning Aquarian Age. It's time to become the Axis mundi: the mythic World Tree that connects Heaven and Earth. A cross-cultural concept, the Axis mundi also correlates with the caduceus, an ancient symbol of alchemy that today denotes the medical profession.

The caduceus has long been my personal power symbol. For me, the two snakes entwining face-to-face represent the ultimate union: an alchemical wedding that forges something more magnificent than either could alone.

This is the Axis mundi to which we're heir: Love, and reverence for all life. We even embody it: the Heart chakra is the center of the body, connecting the three spiritual chakras above it with the three physical chakras below. As we engender greater love and compassion, we merge Earth with the Heavens.

And at last, we are ready. Enough of us have cooked in our cultural cauldron to create an uncritical mass, a confluence ("flowing together") of allies who are lighting the way into the next stage of human evolution. To help you resonate with this vibration, Vibrakeys creator Saleena Ki has brought through an incredible virtual temple for accessing the 11:11:11 energies.

You're invited to the Axis mundi dance — the most exuberant synchronized Dance of all time. Eleven a-lovin'. It's purely elemental.
