5k and 1-mile walk

- Registration (FREE!) begins at 1pm
- Walk begins at 2:30
Bring your friendly dog (or other pet) to this wonderful event to support dozens of animal-welfare agencies statewide and the tens of thousands of pets they rescue each year. This inaugural PetSmart Charities PetWalk, presented by Nestlé Purina, KSAZ-TX Fox 10, My 45 and American Express, is free although participants are asked to collect pledges to support the participating Arizona animal-welfare agency of their choice or PetSmart Charities®.
This is the first event of its kind, bringing together just about every animal rescue agency, humane society and shelter in Arizona to achieve one shared goal of helping homeless and rescued animals in need. - Susana Della Maddalena, Executive Director, PetSmart Charities
