Burger King has pissed off more than a few feminists and parents with its latest controversial ad "It'll Blow Your Mind Away". Obviously the ad alludes to oral sex, using the words "blow" and "it tastes better". And then there is the picture of the woman who appears to be utterly surprised at the hugeness of the "super seven incher" (a woman that some have likened to a blow-up doll). Apparently the ad was made in Singapore for a non-American audience, but with the magic of the internet it has made its way to our apparently more conservative shores. Some consumers find the ad to be amusing and clever while others find it to be completely revolting. What is your opinion?
" It manages to desecrate both burgers and blow-jobs–and as an erstwhile fan of both, and a defender of the ladies, it leaves me triply outraged and left with the same greasy sense of empty calories and broken promises that fast food so often delivers. I love a dick joke as much as the next girl, but, in the words of Gob-COME ON!" -Devan at Bust Magazine
Oh and by the way BK isn't the only one using blatantly sexual advertising to sell its products. Remember the Quizno's "Two Girls One Sub" commercial?
