On Aug. 22, some major events in Beatle history took place. In 1968, Ringo had had enough and quit the Beatles temporarily. He came back to open arms and flowers on Sept. 4. On the same day, Cynthia Lennon filed for divorce from John Lennon. In 1969, the group had their last photo session at Tittenhurst Park.
