The Beatles in Mono remastered box set to be released on 9/9/09 (Copyright Apple Corps Ltd.) 

 

Capitol/EMI has provided new images of the Beatles box sets to be released on 9/9/09, along with the U.S. list prices, dimensions and information on what each contains. The list prices are the top price you should see. Discounters will have them cheaper. The Beatles remastered CDs are also available individually.

Update: Amazon.com now has The Beatles Stereo Box Set and The Beatles Mono Box Set listed for less than the list price.

The Beatles (stereo box set)

U.S. MSRP: $259.98. Dimensions: 12"x6"x3".

Remastered albums in stereo  -- 14 titles on 16 CDs) and one DVD with all 13 mini-documentaries. Each CD includes a unique album mini-documentary embedded in QuickTime, except "Past Masters, Vols. 1 & 2'".

  • Hard black glossy lift top with magnet clasp
  • CDs packaged with replicated original UK album art, including expanded booklets containing original and newly written liner notes and rare photos
  • The stereo albums have been remastered by Guy Massey, Steve Rooke, Sam Okell with Paul Hicks and Sean Magee
  • Additional historical notes by Kevin Howlett and Mike Heatley
  • Additional recording notes by Allan Rouse and Kevin Howlett
