A source tells us there's talk that Paul McCartney could add a date in Los Angeles at either Dodger Stadium or the Hollywood Bowl on his current tour. No word on what date that show might take place.
What we posted Tuesday:
Handmade Films, the film company founded by George Harrison, has suspending trading of its shares for the third year in a row, reports the UK Telegraph. The reason, according the paper, is for being late in filing its accounts.
Eric Cash, the artist who drew a painting called "The Introduction", depicting the day John Lennon met Paul McCartney, is interviewed on Woody Lifton's The Beatles-History.com website.
Peter Radomski sent us this note:
I just got back from opening night at the Montreal Jazz Fest. Stevie Wonder played a free show to a crowd of several hundred thousand people. Early on in the set, Stevie played a very soulful rearrangement of "Michelle." He also did the Gershwin standard, "(Our) Love Is Here To Stay." Prior to Wonder taking the stage, the audience was treated to MJ's greatest hits on the PA (including some Jackson 5ive) Wonder took the stage 20 minutes later than scheduled (NOT his fault - a safety check following tremendous downpour). Stevie took the mike and eulogized his late friend, and declared the night was to be dedicated to Jackson, receiving a roar of approval from the audience. He asked the audience to remember him for his music, suggesting that a lot of the negativity, the gossip was ultimately driven by people "put to make a buck."
