In an interview with Spinner, Olivia Harrison talks more about "Let It Roll: Songs by George Harrison," saying she originally wanted the set to be two discs. "Everyone was fighting and pushing and pulling. Dhani had a list, of course, and he was, "No, you can't have this; you gotta have this." Then the record company has ideas ... I had a two-CD set; we really honed it down [to one] ... We tried to pick something from every era." She also says "Dark Horse" will be remastered and the quote attributed to Dhani Harrison about unreleased music in "The Beatles: Rock Band" may be inaccurate.
We've been mentioning with all the added dates that 2009 is the Paul McCartney tour that isn't. In his latest blog, Beatlefan's Bill King says rumor has it the real McCartney tour will be next year.

Speaking of thenewno2, here's part 1 of an interview with them on BeatCrave.

Author Jude Southerland Kessler ("Shoulda Been There") also has a Father's Day Beatle story on her website.
The playlist for the 3-hour Beatle Dance Party on Sunday's edition of "Chris Carter's 'Breakfast With the Beatles'" on Sirius 59/XM 75 includes "Twist and Shout," "Leave My Kitten Alone," "I Wanna Be Your Man" (live from "Around the Beatles"), "And Your Bird Can Sing," "A Hard Day's Night," "Get Back", "Goose Step Mama" by the Rutles and "I'm Down."
And Happy Father's Day from one dad (me) to all of you.
