A point about "The Beatles: Rock Band" story: There's no question that "The Beatles: Rock Band" is geared toward the younger (and younger/older) Beatle fans. The game is a pitch to keep the younger, as opposed to the first generation older fans, in the game. We're already hearing skepticism from older fans. We admit to being one of the skeptics. It's a great idea in principle. Will the game be the next generation's prime Beatle product? We'll see after 9/9/09. But given the enthusiasm about it, it looks like it will at least be big this Christmas.

The press release for McCartney's upcoming Halifax show was printed Tuesday morning on his MySpace blog. It was printed about two weeks ago on his website.

And finally, cute headline on the Best Week Ever blog's story about "The Beatles: Rock Band." It reads "Beatles Rock Band Trailer A Much Better Movie Than 'Across The Universe'"
