We've heard an advance copy of "Let It Roll: Songs by George Harrison."
Just to confirm, here's the track listing as shown on the back of the disc:
1. Got My Mind Set On You, 2. Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth), 3. The Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll), 4. My Sweet Lord (4:4`) , 5. While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Live - "Concert For Bangladesh" Soundtrack), 6. All Things Must Pass, 7. Any Road, 8. This Is Love, 9. All Those Years Ago, 10. Marwa Blues, 11. What Is Life, 12. Rising Sun, 13. When We Was Fab, 14. Something (Live - "Concert For Bangladesh" Soundtrack), 15. Blow Away, 16. Cheer Down, 17. Here Comes The Sun (Live - "Concert For Bangladesh" Soundtrack), 18. I Don't Want To Do It, 19. Isn't It A Pity.
The advance disc credits Giles Martin with digital remastering of the tracks at Abbey Road Studios. "Cheer Down," one of our favorites, sounded very clean, and the Bangladesh tracks sound very bright and up front. The advance disc did not come with the 28-page booklet.
Listening to the collection, it resembles somewhat of a FM DJ's set - some very familiar songs, some not so, but all good choices. (How could you not with a George Harrison collection?) A concise look at George's career. And the use of the over 7 minute "Isn't It a Pity?" to wrap it up is a nice coda to the set.
Let it roll.
