On Monday, Yoko Ono brought John Lennon's memories back to the city he loved. We have extensive three-part coverage with Part 1 (pictures), Part 2 (video) and Part 3 (an exclusive report from Jeff Slate of The Badge). (Thanks again to Jeff for all he did.)

The Washington Post reports that a new anti-abortion ad by Catholic Vote.org includes the image of John Lennon. The Post says the ad will air during the finale of "American Idol." CatholicVote.org was previously turned down by NBC when it tried to air an anti-abortion video that portrayed President Obama as an unborn child.

The details about "The Beatles: Rock Band" keep coming slower than molasses.  Alex Navarro, in an interview with Eurogamer, says more details will be leaked at the E3 Expo, including a partial track list. "You're looking at E3. It's not going to be the full tracklist that we announce, but we'll have some info at that point. We're gonna tease it a little bit." Navarro makes additional comments about "The Beatles: Rock Band" about 4:20 of this video interview at Eurogamer TV. There's no footage of the game in the interview. Navarro says the company has been "over the moon" since the project was announced and calls working with the Beatles "humbling."  Asked who's the best Beatle, Navarro says, "No comment. I'm a PR guy. I can't take sides."

Rick Glover of Beatlefan sent us links to photos he's taken of a gallery show with May Pang and Nancy Lee Andrews and a British Invasion show with Peter and Gordon, Terry Sylvester, Peter Noone and Joey Molland.

Gwendolyn Craig sent us this note: "Just saw a new (and sexy!) string quartet from Britain called "Escala" on Oprah's show, doing "Live and Let Die" complete with Paul-style pyrotechnics." They're in the video above.

If you're a collector of '60s records, you know about Immediate Records, the label founded by Andrew Loog Oldham. Here's a feature on it in the UK Guardian
