In case you were wondering, the trailer for the remastered albums on the Beatles website does not contain remastered music, we've been told. But it does have "Please Please Me" and "Eight Days a Week" in stereo and a glimpse at what the remaster packages might look like. But both those songs have been out in stereo. It's just been a while that the UK mixes have been available legitimately.
ZDNet and ScanSafe have reports that Paul McCartney's official website at www.paulmccartney.com was infected with malware last week on the eve of the David Lynch benefit concert. The ZDNet and ScanSafe stories go into some technical details. The UK Independent quoted a McCartney spokesman as saying the problem has been fixed.

Les Fradkin, who played George Harrison in the original cast of "Beatlemania," has just released a limited edition five-song EP called "The White Single" with five instrumental versions of Beatle songs played with his Starr Labs Ztar MIDI Guitar and Fender "Rocky" Stratocaster. The songs are "Back in the USSR," " The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill," "Birthday," "Savoy Truffle" and "Goodnight."
