People.co.uk reports Sir Paul McCartney was angry to discover that Heather Mills is buying a home less than three miles from the one he owns in the Hamptons, Long Island in the state of New York.
An anonymous friend of Paul's was quoted by the tabloid as saying, "It's no secret that relations between Heather and Sir Paul remain strained. Paul has no problem with Heather having an American home. It makes things easier so far as child sharing arrangements for their daughter Beatrice. But he feels he's moved on with his life since finding love with Nancy. The prospect of Heather living in his shadow does not fill him with joy."
Mills won a £25million ($48.6 million USD) divorce settlement in March, 2008, and the paper says she has already spent £10 million ($14.5 million USD) on property.
Meanwhile, here's link to a picture of Paul and his current lady love, Nancy Shevell, from Page 6 of the New York Daily News. The pair were spotted on a beach in Mexico.
