Christina Trillo has been named Artist of the Month for November by the International Beatle Freak Day website. The site spotlights a Beatles tribute band or cover artist each month. Trllo, only 18, and who received rave reviews for her performance at Beatle Fest West in San Francisco last month, is the youngest person to be so honored.
When told she was being named Artist of the Month, Christina said, "The Beatles have affected my life more than any other music artist ever has. Every song has a special meaning to me. I can never hear enough of them. Performing at Beatles Fest in San Francisco was awesome. I knew it was going to be a blast but I never expected it to turn out as good as it did and I am thrilled to be your Artist of the month for November."
Trillo acknowledged her arranger and pianist Rick Olson and also trumpeter Hugh Schick, both of whom accompanied her during her performances at Beatles Fest West.
