The next edition of "Dennis Mitchell's 'Breakfast With the Beatles" features audio from a rare vintage radio special about the history of rock 'n' roll in 1969. Included is Phil Spector describing “Strawberry Fields Forever.” Also featured this week: an interview with Peter Aimes Carlin, author of the new biography, “Paul McCartney: A Life.”

The show is now heard on dozens of U.S. and Canadian radio stations, also on stations in New Zealand and the U.K. and at the Cavern Club and Hard Day’s Night Hotel in Liverpool, and on Beatle webcasts MaccaRadio and Beatles-a-Rama.  The show above will be posted for on-demand listening beginning early Sunday at www.beatlesradioshow.com.  Till then, you can hear this week’s program featuring a Halloween party and an interview with journalist Timothy Harper on the “Paul Is Dead” rumor.
