There will most definitely be a deluxe edition of Paul McCartney's "Good Evening, New York" available in the States even though you can't find it listed anywhere yet. A publicist for the project told us Monday no release date for that edition has been set yet, but it's definitely coming. The only place to get it right now in the U.S. is Paul McCartney's website, but that will change soon. In the meantime, check out the video for "Highway" and you can get both that video and a free mp3 for "Let Me Roll It" from the album. Check out this post we put up on Monday.

A report by the Spanish news agency EFE says Mexican governor Ivonne Ortega let it slip that Paul McCartney is negotiating to play a concert in Chichén Itzá, Mexico, in 2011. She also mentioned Elton John will play the area in 2010.

Don' t get too excited about those reports that BlueBeat.com is offering mp3 downloads of the Beatles and others. An EMI spokesman told us Monday (as they've told all the media), "We're looking into it," which usually means problems for those being looked at. BlueBeat, by the way, is located in Santa Cruz, CA.

In this interview on Fender.com, Dhani Harrison says Olli Hecks hasn't left thenewno2 permanently, but is only away from the tour working on a movie.

Stella McCartney launched a new line of GapKids clothes in stores Monday. The clothes are for kids from 0-6 months to 12 years and feature her "signature touches" - a soft color palette, familiar silhouettes and her "unique mix of unexpected pieces," according to a statement announcing the debut.

A song started by not finished by George Harrison and revealed recently by author Hunter Davies has been completed by songwriter Dean Johnson, reports the UK Sun.

This link from WPBK radio has an interview with Gordon Caldwell, nephew of George Harrison done on Sept. 9.
