This idea isn't ours, but enough performers have tried it and made it work, so here's an idea for Paul McCartney: Why not feature a full album in a string of future shows?
The possibilities are endless. Any of the solo albums would work. "Band on the Run" is the first to come to mind. But imagine spotlighting "London Town," "Venus and Mars," "Press to Play," "Flowers in the Dirt" or "Off the Ground"?
Or for something really different, McCartney could do a full Beatles album, maybe "Please Please Me," "With the Beatles," "Magical Mystery Tour" or even "Abbey Road"?
Sure, the question of who sang what Beatles song originally would come up, but think of this as just spotlighting an album, not making a statement. And any of the songs he didn't sing would be nice tributes to the Beatles who did.
It's an interesting idea.
