An unconfirmed story in the German newspaper Express.De claims Paul McCartney will be playing a concert at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, on Dec. 16.
"Paul McCartney kommt in die Lanxess Arena" reads the headline in German. The Babelfish translation reads "Paul McCartney comes into the Lanxess arena."
The translated story also says, "On 16 December he comes into the Lanxess arena. Became also time: It played last in April 2003 in Cologne. The advance booking begins on Saturday," which we're guessing, since we don't speak Babelfish, means ticket sales could begin Saturday.
McCartney played Köln Arena in Cologne, Germany on April 27-28, 2003.
There's no word on either Paul McCartney's official website or the Lanxess Arena site confirming details of the show.
So if you're in Germany, cross your fingers.
(Thanks to Evelyn Schwarz of Germany's Beatlemania magazine.)
Update: The UK Scotsman says Paul will play 02 Arena in London on Dec. 22.
