"A Conversation With George W. Bush" is what the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal is calling an appearance by the former president Oct. 22 for a speech and question and answer session. Ticket prices range from $200-$400.
Point of interest: The hotel is the same place where John Lennon and Yoko Ono held their 1969 bed-in. And the Canadian Press reports anti-war protesters will be out in force to let their feelings be known.
The web page for the event says "George W. Bush will share his thoughts on his eight momentous years in the Oval Office and will discuss the challenges facing the world in the 21st century."
The protestors will certainly put their feelings another way, very likely in the lyrics of the John Lennon song. "All we are saying ... is give peace a chance. "
