Fred Phelps clan to protest Michael Jackson funeral and memorial service

That's right. They're at it again. The Fred Phelps clan, otherwise know as Westboro Baptist Church, has decided to picket not only Michael Jackson's funeral but his memorial service as well.

They have published fliers on their Web site with the dates and the times of the protests. The flier for the protest of his memorial service in Gary, Indiana, calls the memorial a "sodomite memorial." On the flier about the protest of the funeral at Staples Center, the group refers to Michael as a "fag." Both fliers read, "God Hates Fags, Fornicators, Pedophiles, Adulterers, Icons." They go on to say, "Michael is dead. Deal with it."

The Phelps group has a long history of such nonsense. (Of course, they don't say that God hates people who abuse their children as Fred Phelps has been accused by his son, Nate Phelps). It really makes you wonder how the Phelps family could have spawn such a wonderful person as their son, Nate.
