Christian teacher charged with sex assault used Bible to persuade victims

Until Monday, when he was arrested, Robert Louis Rosseau taught 8th graders at the Christian Academy of San Antonio. Along with other subjects, he taught Bible classes. This all came to an end when he was arrested on Monday after a girl he was trying to lure into his "secret society" complained to police.

According to a report on the Houston Chronicle Web site, the 37-year-old teacher isn't even certified by the state of Texas to teach. He is now being held on a $100,000 bail charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Reportedly, Rosseau's "secret society" included himself and two girls. It was when the two girls tried to get a third girl to join that it all began to come undone. The third girl resisted the two girls and a fight broke out when the two girls allegedly attacked the third at school. The police were called.

It was then that the third girl told police of the teacher's secret society. She also told police that the other two girls had told her that the teacher had seen them nude as part of the "trust" that had to be established for the "order" to survive. It was also said that the two girls told the third girl that Rosseau was in a lot of "pain" because she wouldn't join them.

Although the two girl reportedly initially denied having had sex with the teacher, one of them told her parents on October 21st that she had been having sex with him since January, when the girl was 16. She said she was convinced to join the group when she was told she would be part of a group "'geared to help mankind.'"

She also told authorities that sexual intercourse between the started after she was told that it would "'demonstrate her trust and strict adherence to the society by engaging in sexual intercourse with (Rosseau),'" It was also stated that the teacher would read from the Bible to the two girls to convince the girls that they should have sex with him.

Although the second of the two girls who were in the society maintains that she did not have sex with Rosseau, officials say that there could be more charges filed against him as the investigation continues.
