It’s easier than you thought to become healthier in a holistically balanced way in 2009!  Follow the steps below to improve your over health and lifestyle in 2009.

Step 1. Eat one more serving of fruit a day. A banana adds extra potassium and helps your heart and brain function! An apple adds for fiber and improves your alkaline levels, which reduces inflammation and lowers your risk of cancer.

Step 2. Eat one more serving of vegetables a day. Broccoli is my favorite choice here, it alkalizes and adds fiber to you diet. Dark green vegetables are essential for anti-cancer properties.

Step 3. Buy the Blood type diet book by Dr Peter D’Adamo. When you eat what your DNA needs to operate efficiently you no longer produce other blood type antigens, so your DNA does not mutate, and your health is more in balance naturally. Eat in the season of the food ripening, and do not combine starches and proteins together for best results.

Step 4. Drink high alkaline water (7 or higher) The higher the alkaline state of our bodies, the better you feel, the higher your immune system and the lower your risk of major illness. I have a water machine that produces high alkaline water that is priceless to me, which I share with my clients and friends. Most end up buying their own when they feel the results for them selves.

Step 5. Find out what your Ayurvedic Dosha is and follow the lifestyle plan for yourself. In these days of high insurance costs and “disease care” system we have in America, it more than essential we become educated on how to stay well. We are the only ones who will care if we have a ‘health care’ system because we are the only ones who can provide it for ourselves. I am always recommending Dr Deepak Chopra’s books and videos to clients and family. I published an Ayurvedic Dosha test for your review in another article.

Step 6.   Breathe. Trauma is a sticky thing in our bodies. The fastest way to release negative emotions is with the breath. I have studied with some amazing practitioners over the years, and one taught me the power of breathing in through the top of your head and blowing out your navel, the negative feelings are decrystalized from the emotional body. The emotional body is like a magnet and attracts to you what is made of. So if you are carrying around yuck for 2008, now is the time to breath! Blow it right out of your space. Try 6-8 breaths on any subject you have been traumatized by. Hold your hand over the solar plexus and start breathing. Your hand gets wet from the energy you are dispelling.

Step 7. Reprogram. Get rid of the word ‘NOT’ in your vocabulary. Find a more positive affirming way of creating a beautiful reality and life for your self. Your imagination holds some clues to the happiness you deserve. The things you think are needed before you can be happy are another way the ego keeps you in control. The ego loves the word ‘not’, so get yourself out of prison and find options you never knew you had available.   Get creative!

Step 8. Re-boot. When you think of the color you dislike the most it disconnects you. Or the sound that is the worst to your ears, it shuts off your ‘computer’, your brain. And you are no longer functioning on a fully alert system. To re-boot ourselves we need nature, pets, music and art. It restores our operating system to normal. Get yourself connected to at least one of them daily. Some days I have to re-boot several times to stay in touch with my intuition and instincts. Being a healer demands a sensitive operating at quantum speeds sometimes.

Step 9. Pray. Praying with your spouse can save your marriage! With the divorce rate so high in America, you may scoff at this suggestion. But in Dr Kevin Lemans book ‘7 things he will never tell you but you need to know’ he states in marriages where they couples pray together only 1 in 1047 get divorced! Let your spouse know what is so important to you that you talk to God about it! Your marriage is the number one thing contributing to your health, if your happy, you heal faster.  Learn to expect miracles in 2009!
