Ouch! 70% of independents want to replace entire Congress; 52% of all voters disapprove of Obama

Throw the bums out 2010!

National polling numbers are showing grim news for the Wall Street-Washington oligarchy which continues to ignore the plight of working American in favor of corruption and cronyism.

Obama’s approval continues to tank in the Rasmussen Reports daily tracking polls, where 52% of likely voters now disapprove of his troublesome job performance as President. That 52% disapproval includes a whopping 42% disapproval rating.

A 47% minority of voters say that they approve of Obama, his lowest total yet.

As other, earlier polls by Washington Post and ABC discovered, Obama’s approval is slipping among Democrats, liberals, and the crucial independent voters as well as among the overall electorate.

It is likely that Obama’s weakness in standing up to the Wall Street-Washington oligarchy is damaging his standing among those voters who believed, apparently erroneously, that he would fight for the working classes and the common man.

But instead of bailing out regular Americans, he is bailing out big business, bankers, and special interests with borrowed taxpayer money that is rapidly spiraling the nation into uncontrollable debts.

The Washington Post/ABC poll which showed Obama losing his base showed his liberals’ faith in his decision making skills dropping 12 points, liberals’ faith in his ability to challenge the political establishment dropping 13 points, and liberals’ faith in his ability to achieve real progressive health care reform dropping 11 points.

Ouch.

Congress is faring even worse in the polls. Rasmussen’s polling shows that only 43% approve of their health care pseudo-reform plans, with 53% disapproving.

And, more ominously for those congresspersons running for re-election next year, 57% of voters overall indicated that if given the choice they would throw everybody out of Congress and let brand new blood in to start over from scratch.

54% of voters think Congress doesn’t even understand the bills they propose, and 70% of independent voters apparently abhor this Congress and would throw all the bums out.

The only question is why that isn’t yet 100%?
