Nancy Pelosi is insane.
Sure, we already knew that. One look at her leering botox-riddled Joker face gave that away. Her career is filled with monumental fits of crazy, but her latest plan for health care reform takes the cake.
This is the reform that is so important that it must be rammed through congress in the dead of night without a single soul having read the 2,000 plus pages of nonsensical drivel purposely designed to hide nefarious little nuggets like federal funding for abortion, death panels, and possible jail time for those precious uninsured that we are all so heartbroken over.
Somewhere a liberal is in need of health care because his head just blew up over the term “death panels.” It’s just a scare tactic that crazies on the right like myself throw around to scare the geezers. End of life counseling is a warm and fuzzy little chat-fest between a faceless government bureaucrat and you about how you are going to die and the many ways that it could happen, nothing more. Of course, that cozy little image ignores the facts. Every single nation that has socialized medicine has to “ration” care due to cost. Each participant is ranked based on a system eerily similar to one Mr. Obama’s good pal (and health care advisor) Dr. Emmanuel might suggest. Making cuts in care in those nations has obviously started with the geezers as they cost “too much to keep alive” and many find their surgeries and medicines no longer paid for by the all-knowing, all-caring, and wonderful government system.
Many men and women in Britain are told that they should just get their affairs in order when they have certain types of aggressive cancer that could easily be cured here, but that the government system deems too expensive.
So, when crazies prattle on about death panels, know that they are in operation everywhere that socialized medicine is put into practice, even glorious Cuba (although the brothers Castro won’t let you know that because, well, they aren’t too into a free press much like someone else you might have heard of.)
So, getting back to Nancy Pelosi’s sanity, her current bill would imprison folks (or fine them $25,000) if they don’t buy at least a $15,000 plan. So, if you are say, one of those folks at the bottom of the pay scale and you are currently without health care because to buy your own plan would be too much money, you will now have to pony up no matter what or risk jail time. Hey, I thought the big bad Republicans were supposed to be the ones who hate poor people and want to ruin their lives at the expense of their fat-cat richie-rich friends. Nancy, you little trickster you!
So, the big rush to jam through this governmental usurpation of the health care industry isn’t so much about helping people as it is crushing the little guy and putting him in jail? After all, the magical number of “uninsured” people changes from 25 million to 45 million depending on the week. At the end of over one trillion in new spending, Nancy Pelosi is still by her own admission leaving at least 10-15 million of those folks out in the cold. It seems like if you are going to spend one trillion dollars, the least you could do is accomplish your stated number one goal of insuring everyone. Unless of course you are crazy. Or maybe you want people to go to jail?
One thing is certain, jailing folks for not buying health care is more important than terrorist attacks. President Obama decided to chill with Crazy Nancy this weekend and “summon” the folks to pass this bill. Completely ignoring the tragedy in Fort Hood, the war in Afghanistan and the upcoming 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall (finally something unimportant enough to warrant a job for Secretary of State Clinton!) Obama has certainly made his priorities known. Health care to all, er, to most, and jail to others! Maybe if the folks down in Fort Hood made it known that as people gunned down by a crazed Islamic Jihadist, they too need health care, they could convince Obama to come down?
So as the money isn’t spent on insuring all Americans (the stated goal of this very important plan) what is the money spent on? Well, abortion for one. Sure, they keep promising us that it won’t be in the final bill, but mysteriously every time a new revision comes out, abortion makes the cut. Seriously, though, we should just trust these folks. They would never lie, like say, promising to have the entire text of the bill online for 72 hours before the final vote and then pushing it through without that. No, no, they wouldn’t lie, like say, campaigning on an open dialogue on health care that would be televised and then doing everything behind closed doors and personally attacking anyone who does get a copy and just has a question or two about it. No, not these folks. They’re the most “transparent” administration in history.
So, on the abortion topic, my fellow right-wing extremist, Sarah Palin, remarked at a Right to Life dinner in Wisconsin this week that, “abortion is not health care.”
Indeed. There is something not warm and fuzzy about ending the life of an unborn child. Doesn’t sound healthy to me. What with all of the being burned alive via saline injections and being torn apart limb by limb by an unfeeling doctor who then finishes the job by stabbing your skull with scissors and sucking your brains out. Doesn’t sound like any health care I would ever want. Nope, pretty sure most people would pass on that type of treatment, free or not.
The Democrats’ plan isn’t about insuring the uninsured. It isn’t about helping people. It isn’t about improving the quality of care or the access to good doctors. If any of that was true, they would enact some result-driven client-centered reforms like allowing plans to compete over state lines, and enacting tort reform.
No folks, this emergency health care plan is nothing more than yet another power grab by crazy Nancy Pelosi and some nefarious folks that have an addiction to power.
