Little League World Series 2009 Wednesday New York vs Texas LLWS game
The Little League World Series 2009 baseball semi-finals started today in South Williamsport, PA with Staten Island, New York (2-1) vs San Antonio, Texas (3-0) teams competing against each other. A team from Texas has never played a team from New York at the Little League World Series of baseball.
Texas shut New York out at the start of the game. Texas scored two runs in the first inning.
Nick Smisek from Texas had an RBI double in the 2nd inning. John Shull had an RBI run to make the score 4-0 Texas.
In the 3rd inning, on bases loaded a walk gives New York their first run.
Throughout the game, Texas turned three double plays with the bases loaded that prevented New York from scoring.
And with that the New York team has been eliminated from the 2009 Little League World Series of baseball
