Take Your Kids to Bass Pro Shop for Halloween Fun
Free event features pumpkin carving, mask decorating and tasty treats

Looking for something fun and out of the ordinary to do with your little ghouls? Take them to one of the 52 participating Bass Pro Shops for free kids’ activities during the last two weekends of October.

Here’s the scoop:
Get ready for Halloween with some craft pumpkin decorating from Noon until 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday (October 24th and 25th). Enjoy roasting marshmallows and sample Dutch Oven-Made Apple Cobbler. YUM!!

Then, on Friday, October 30th, Bass Pro Shops will offer “Trick of Treating” throughout the stores from 4 pm to 7 pm. Orange and black balloons will mark the in-store locations that are handing out the treats. From 6 – 7 pm a costume parade will take place with participation prizes being handed out.

Saturday, October 31st, will end the festivities with mask decorating, more roasting marshmallows and apple cobbler.

Bring the family out for a fun and safe Halloween – Bass Pro Shops style. (NOTE: Please call your local store to find out if they are participating.)

Atlanta Braves Baseball Fans listen up!
Looking for a fun and seasonal way to show your Braves spirit and maybe win a prize? The Atlanta Braves want fans to test their pumpkin carving skills by entering their jack-o-lanterns in the Braves Pumpkin Carving Contest and be eligible to win a pair of tickets to any 2010 Atlanta Braves home game. A panel of Braves judges will choose the top five entries based on display of Braves spirit and originality, and fans will choose the grand prize winner in online voting beginning on October 26.

Competitors should carve an original Braves-themed creation and enter the contest at:
