Young entertainer a veteran performer
Jamison Horn has been playing the fiddle half his life. Not a lot of four year olds get violins for their birthday, but he’s been playing ever since. A few months ago, he asked his dad for a mandolin. His father, Michael Horn said no. Not to be deterred, Jamison bought the mandolin anyway with his own money.
The youngest member of the Riders of the Circle B, Jamison, has only been playing the mandolin for just a few months. At age 8, he’s already a showman playing both the fiddle and the mandolin on stage. Before the show, Jamison helps his grandfather Kemp Horn with popcorn and soft drinks.
Check out their web page for tickets, www.CircleBShow.com, or call Circle B at (800) 678-6179 or, (417) 336-1828. Write to Circle B Chuck wagon, 200 Jess Jo Parkway, Branson, MO 65616, Email
The show schedule and menu are on the website. The chuck wagon beef brisket dinner is topped off with made-from-scratch cinnamon rolls. If you are lucky their may be a dozen cinnamon rolls left for sale after the show (perfect for your breakfast.)
The Riders of the Circle B include two-time Louisiana state fiddle champion, and Canadian Open fiddle champ Louis Darby. Yodeling, playing the mandolin and guitar, “Branson’s Singing Cowboy,” is John Fullerton. Riders include 20-year veteran of the Baldknobber’s Jamboree, lead guitarist and vocalist Earl Vaughan. Circle B members are happy to sign their CDs for sale after the show.
Surrounded by some of some of Branson’s best talent, it’s no wonder Jamisons talent is growing so quickly. While he was posing for photos, someone mentioned that soon, girls will be asking Jamison to autograph his picture for them. And, it may not be long before he has a girlfriend or two.
“I already do,” he said.
