Travel tourism takes a new message onto a new medium now that the Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club and the Aruba Tourism Authority’s 90,000 friends campaign have joined forces. The island instituted this campaign to showcase the 90,000 friends you have not met yet. These are people who are frequent visitors to Aruba. The creative campaign focuses on the reasons why they choose to this friendly island again and again.
The Marriott Vacation Club has co-sponsored a new bus that will transport tourists across the island free of charge.
The “90,000 friends” bus will be one of nine buses that Marriott Vacation Club Aruba utilizes in this combined on-island campaign to encourage tourism. Local students from the Angel Osorio of Art & Design created the design for the bus.
Advertising and marketing specialists have given accolades to the island for its creative campaign that engages travelers and reminds them of the diversity of the visitors and the island’s eclectic sights, tastes, and experiences.
Marriott Vacation Club has two properties on the island: Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club and Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club. In addition, the island features the Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino and the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino.
