The King of Pop passed away unexpectedly yesterday afternoon and fans all over the world are looking for ways to celebrate his memory. If you’re amongst the many searching for a way to pay homage to Jackson’s phenomenal career, here are two local events to help you do just that:

Who’s Bad Performs a Musical Tribute at the 9:30 Club
The Michael Jackson Tribute Band, Who’s Bad has added another show for tonight at the 9:30 Club after tickets to their 8PM performance sold out. The band is known for its intricate performance showcasing songs and trends from Jackson’s 3 decades of chart topping hits. Get your tickets for the 11PM show before they’re gone!

Thriller Meetup Group Holds a Weekend of Thriller Dance Classes
The Washington DC Thriller Dance Meetup Group is holding special classes all this weekend at The Chevy Chase Ballroom & Dance Sport Center. Come out and learn the moves to the Michael’s hit song Thriller. The event is being co-hosted by Terry Chasteen of www.PleaseDanceWithMe.com and will feature the original routine directly from the video. Exact times are still tentative. Friday June 26th –Noon, 6:30PM, 7:00 PM
Saturday June 27th–10:00AM, 7:00 PM
Sunday June 28th–Noon, 9:00 PM
