Though I must admit I was very amused by the This Ain't Star Trek XXX porn spoof released last week and always get a good chuckle at porn spoofs in general, this latest news strikes me as especially crass: Yes, folks, predictably enough the first Twilight porn spoof – first reported on by Fleshbot.com in December – is now upon us.

French Connection, an adult film production and distribution company better known for its all-male gay porn flicks, will release Twilight of Virginity this month on May 22, promising "Wild vampire sex and plenty of action!" If you must... You can order the $29.99 DVD at the very NSFW French Connection Website.

XBIZ News reports:

The erotic spoof was written and produced by the singly named Gutzenstein, and directed by Dick Tracy. It was shot in the home of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx.

Featured players include Brooke Belle, Jenaveve Jolie, Vanessa Leon, Sativa Rose and Rachel Roxxx with Cheyne Collins, Mark Davis and Reno.

...

"We're all about offering a wide range of products to our customers," said French Connection owner Christopher Hull. "And now we can offer them some really great straight porn, too."

"We had to move on a chance to spoof 'Twilight,' since everyone was going crazy over it, " said a Gutzenstein Productions rep. "During lunch with Chris Hull, I pitched him the idea and he wanted to sell it for us."

If you love porn spoofs and the free speech protections that make them possible in the U.S., you have Larry Flynt to thank for it: Check out my recent article on Hustler Magazine's 35th anniversary for more on Flynt's lifelong defense of the First Amendment and the landmark Supreme Court decision in Hustler Magazine v. Falwell that helped pave the way for smutty satire of every stripe.
