I decided to make every Friday a "feel-good" day and post something good.
CNN reports on Jorge Munoz, a school bus driver who, for more than four years, has fed the needy--365 days a year. He states he's served around 70,000 meals.
He's there without fail, taking a "day off" on Sunday when he and his family serve ham and cheese sandwiches instead of a hot meal.
What makes him do this? "When I see these guys on the street," the Columbia native says, "it's like seeing me, 20-something years ago when I came to this country."
Munoz is indeed a hero--noticing a problem and then doing something about it. He can't cure hunger in the United States, but he is making a huge difference in the lives of the individuals he feeds, every single night.
The conversation continues with you.
