Find out more about Joe: Joe Poulton is first and foremost an adventurer. He loves the experiences of seeing new places and meeting new people. There’s no better way to preserve these experiences for other people to enjoy than through photography and writing. After Joe hit the age of 19, he flew the coop to Seattle and Bellingham, Washington. While he was there he climbed, wrote, and photographed lots of places, the record of which is stored in many 4×5 prints and articles on his computer. During the four years he was in Washington Joe had a few jaunts to Alaska and British Columbia. In Alaska he learned how to seine fish for a couple months. In British Columbia, he got a taste of multipitch rock climbing. Then he moved to Denver, Colorado, the home of the majestic Flatirons near Boulder. There he lived, learned and climbed for 5 years. However, he could only handle being landlocked for so long. Now, Joe's back home in the Pacific Northwest to continue photographing with passion and writing his path. |
