Words of wisdom from Massimo Vignelli, one of the world's most accomplished living designers, in his "Canon" - a free pdf of advice and knowledge on basic design principles. It's available as a download from Vignelli.com (link takes you to a 3.7 mb pdf). Not often that a legend opens up the vaults like this. Awesome.
