Tomorrow night's episode will be centered around Thanksgiving, and will feature culinary god Grant Achatz as guest judge. His famous Alinea restaurant can be found in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago, he is a leader in the molecular gastronomy field of cooking, and he also just beat tongue cancer. Here is an excellent New Yorker profile on Achatz. The quickfire challenge seems to feature some sort of "roll with the punches" theme:

Speaking of Thanksgiving, one my favorite episodes of Top Chef was Season Two's Thanksgiving episode. Here is a video recap of the episode, which is worth watching solely for the presence of living legend Anthony Bourdain, who was the guest judge. His "What kind of crackhouse are you running here?" question to Colicchio and his "Focus, dude." parting shot to class clown Mike Midgely are two of my all-time favorite Top Chef moments.
And finally, if you're still looking for Thanksgiving appetizer/side dish ideas, you could do a lot worse than Spike Mendelsohn's Squash Soup recipe from Season Four.
