We stepped onto the subway at 7:27 a.m., as massive crowds had already begun to form, eagerly trying to make their way to Freedom Plaza to attend the "9/12 March on Washington." We were sandwiched in shoulder-to-shoulder, back to front, with our signs poking each other and American flags sticking out in every direction.

The event wasn't even set to begin until 9:00.

We arrived at our stop and poured out by the hundreds. We gradually made our way through all the people, up the steps and onto the streets only to find that thousands of other "angry mobsters" had already poured into the plaza before dawn. Packed crowds of families, strollers and "Don't Tread On Me" flags were everywhere. It was quite the racist, right-wing gathering.

By 11:00, even the side streets around the plaza had become completely overrun. We had already reached critical mass and were ordered by the police to move out, beginning the march several hours early. We took up all four lanes of Pennsylvania Avenue, every inch of the sidewalks, and surged forward like a tidal wave.

It was an ocean of people, cheers, flags and signs. Within an hour, the streets were filled with patriots from the Washington Monument to the Capitol Building, and beyond. After another hour, we had completely flooded city. People could be seen from horizon to horizon. Multiple police officers I spoke to confirmed that they had never seen anything like it--not even at Obama's inauguration, which reportedly had two million in attendance.

There has never been such an enormous uprising in Washington, D.C. Never. This was an historic event.

We had come to speak out against the bailouts, the fiscal insanity, and the rampant corruption...and we completely shut down the capitol to make ourselves heard. After getting nothing but a dial tone from Washington for six months straight, we finally decided to turn up the volume, bring the American people (who agree with the Tea Partiers on virtually every single issue) with us to their doorstep, and personally remind them that they take their orders from us.

These partisan extremists, tax cheats, and unaccountable crooks who have taken over our government and keep trying to violently shove this country into full-blown socialism now know what their Constitution-trampling tyranny and corruption have awoken. And for that, all Americans should be grateful.

But unfortunately, many Americans have no clue what transpired in Washington on Saturday, and likely won't ever find out as our post-journalism era DNC "news media" have reached a new low in burying inconvenient truths.

Rather than covering this unprecedented public rejection of Obama's extreme ideas, most outlets completely ignored the event altogether...while unquestioningly broadcasting every second of Obama's approximately billionth ultra-partisan lie fest, this time playing the victim and smearing dissenters from Minnesota.

And those who didn't participate in the near total media blackout either buried the story in the fine print and on the back pages, or overtly undermined it by grossly misstating the facts--especially the head count. This what conservatives mean by "the death of journalism." It is also a perfect example of why Tea Partiers kept shouting, "Tell the truth!" when CNN showed up to record its millisecond of non-coverage.

Reporting by the "mainstream" media on this event has been a total disgrace.

Michelle Malkin's coverage, on the other hand, was thorough and superb. Interestingly, WND also noticed that when foreign newspapers counted the attendees, they oddly came up with counts more like what the police had told us--as with the London Daily Mail, which estimated 2 million.
