Reuters announced that the Hispanic Information and Telecommunication Network (HITN-TV) will broadcast the “Peace Without Borders” concert live from Cuba tomorrow Sunday, September 20, at 11 am Pacific Time. It will be offered through all of their platforms – cable, satellite, and the internet at http://www.hitn.tv
HITN-TV announced that Soldanela Rivera will be their correspondent from Havana. She will have complete access to all details of the concert.
This is an anticipated event that has created much controversy between those who support Colombian rocker Juanes’ decision to take the concert to Cuba, and those who feel the artist’s presence in the island turns him into an accomplice of the Cuban government.
However, the show, according to EFE today, is ready to go on with the stage built and backed by a large viewing screen, lighting, and a crew that is often heard testing the sound system with the well known notes of Juanes' “La Camisa Negra.”
Following is the official itinerary of the concert and some of the latest pictures from Cuba released by Bonnet Media.
