Looking for something special to do with your kids this holiday season? Want to bring back the magic? Consider taking your kids to have a meal with Santa at the St. Louis Zoo.
The zoo offers both a gourmet breakfast and a dinner that foodies will love. The breakfast menu features quiche--your choice of ham and cheese or spinach for adults, and French toast sticks for kids. Plus, sausage, fresh fruit, breakfast potatoes, and various drinks are served at your private table.
Dinner is an Italian buffet offering such dishes as spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine Alfredo, and chicken parmesan. Sides include garlic bread sticks, salads, and various desserts and beverages.
Reservations are required. Zoo members pay $18 for kids' breakfast and $20 for adults' breakfast. Non members pay $20 for kids' breakfast and $22 for adults' breakfast.
Dinner for members costs $21 for kids and $23 for adults, while non members will pay $22 for kids and $24 for adults. Kids under two are free in all cases.
Dates are Saturdays and Sundays, including December 13 and 14, and December 20 and 21. Times vary, so be sure to double check that space is available.
